    Hi all.
We are looking at a newish car to fit the children in.
So i know some people don't like these but these are what we are looking at at the moment.

The main question is the one up north has low mileage but factoring in vrt etc it would work out around the same price as the one in Dublin.

However the one in Dublin is uk Reg but garage will do Reg in our county plates.

The other we would have to do ourselves.

The black car has more spec and I like that but would you be concerned about the milage? It's not that high but still.

We be doing approx 10 k. Miles a year.

    Thanks

The semi-automatic gearbox is a dog apparently.

Would anyone recommend buying in Nov \Dec.
or is it all the same when buying a second hand car.?

The uk new car year doesn't happen in January. So it depends on whether you're buying here or in the uk.

Had on as a hire car. I really hated it. I didnt like the gearbox. It had a silly button as the handbrake ...

I think they all have electronic parking brakes.

No it was a 6 speed manual with a 1.9L diesel engine, It felt like their sole concern in driving the car was fuel consumption. The gear ratios didnt feel great. Ended up changing a lot sooner than I would have liked. It also had those lights that come on telling you to change gear. They were on very quick and it drove me crazy.
