Just looking around. Could you get bike with Ultegra DI2 for €2K?

Does need to be current gen but would prefer if it was new? Could you build one for that price?

A DI2 groupset comes out at around €800. A chinese frame. Second hand wheels etc

I just took delivery of a Rose Xeon RS 3100 with Ultegra Di2:

It was about 1900 euro with 10% off due to stock clearance.

I think it was the outgoing model, the new one is about 2200 from Rose.

I haven't done many miles on it yet, but it's a lot more like a carbon bike than any alloy bike I've had before: stiff and precise but not too harsh a ride.

Also too early to comment on Di2, but I think it's like HD tv. You don't fully appreciate it until you go back to standard def and the loss of sharpness becomes really apparent. A groupset should shift gears, so when it does it perfectly all the time, you will only notice how good it is when you get back on a mechanical bike where it might not shift perfectly all the time.

I could live without it. But I could also live without carbon. Tough call, but you need to ask yourself what's more important for the bike you are buying. For me, it was low maintenance and trouble-free shifting in winter/Irish weather conditions.

I built a scott cr1 pro from westbrook cycles up with ultegra di2, mavic kysrium elites, deda seat post an stem, prologgo saddle and ritchey logic handlebars for just over 2000, think it was 2085 so not far over. Bike weighs around 7.6kg with no huge effort to make it light. Great bike and far better than what I could have got for the price built.

You will find it hard to get a groupset for 800 anything at that price is only a conversion kit containing shifters, mechs and cables.

This was the best deal going at the time. But only available in xs now.

You could go into the Canyon Outlet and choose your size, then save the URL as a Shortcut on your browser. Just click on that every morning and evening. (or about 10 times a day if you are me)

Bikes get returned to Canyon a lot around this time of year, post 2014 sale.

You might be lucky enough to See an Ultimate AL SLX with 11s Di2 for 1899 or 1999 if brand new.

You should be able to get a Ribble r872 with di2 for about €2k. It's the cheapest I know of anyway. There are canyon aeroads size 56 and 58 in the outlet with di2 starting at 2699 probay the best value out there. I'd say if you can't afford di2 now, go for a good quality frame with 105 or ultegra that can be upgraded to di2 in a couple of years.

    The Ribble is about €2250.

I've seen online that the Canyon endurance frame set is getting an electronic upgrade. That would be the perfect bike for me

Around a year or so ago some of the large UK retailers had options at just over £2k (including Wiggle and CRC IIRC - we had another thread on pretty much the same point around that time I'm guessing), but the strengthening of sterling has pushed the price up in euro terms and it looks like those retailers have sold out of the options they were offering - I picked up a Ridley Excalibur from Slane Cycles for about £2,100 after they gave me about a hundred quid discount

I am guessing there may be a few second hand options materialising as Di2 has been around for a few years now and some people will be upgrading to 11 speed. I've been using Di2 for around 3 years now and certainly have not encountered any reliability issues

two year ago i picked up a carbon rose with ultegra di2 for 2200. ultegra di2 was 1700 at the time, or some crazy price like that. frame, richey finishing kit, kysrium elite wheels, and the frame for 600.

only managed it as i waited till rose had the big discounts at their end of season, and got lucky on sizing.

i imagine now with the drop in pricing if you got lucky at the same time you'd end up under 2k

like beasty, my di2 has never missed a beat, and been far less problematic, and required less maintenance than any mechanical groupset i have on other bikes, with the possible exception of the deore on my mountain bike

    Older generation 10 speed though.

I should point out that the Rose came with Di2 6850: 11 speed, integrated battery, dual pivot 6800 brakes, etc.

Only limited sizes left but if you went for this deal you should be able to complete for under 2k:

compromising 11 to 10 speed to get under the 2k mark if that was the target wouldn't seem that big a loss. agreed though those would be nice improvements.

the one downside with the cannondale approach is you end up with a mismatched chainset due to the bb30 bottom bracket on the cannondales. I ahe a rotor 30 to 24 adapter on my slice so i can swap my PM between my tri bike and di2 road bike for this reason

Link? I emailed them and told them they were missing a trick and they said No :(

You can update the old 10s Ui2 to 11s by changing the RD, as far as I know.
As long as the Firmware hasn't been updated to August 14.

I read a review of the endurance and it said there was a rumour that an electronic version was coming
