insurance company paid out even though I'm in the right

I hope I am in the right place, I'm going to keep this very short but will elaborate on request. I was involved in a fender bender about 8 weeks ago, as it turned out I was in the right, but the 3rd party claimed against me and even though I denied responsibility my insurance company paid out without contacting me. Anyone know what my options are please

If you have car damage or other loss, you can see a solicitor about bringing proceedings. Liability would be decided in court.

Read the T&C's for your policy, you gave them this right when you took out insurance with them.
