Its only a month away so taught id see if there's any interest in beers just before Christmas ?

I was looking at dates trying not to be to close to the day itself and then taking into account its near the end of November now. So who would be interested in the Friday or Saturday the weekend of the 12th/13th of December ?

Ill stick up a poll to see what the numbers are like as well.

    Christmas beers ? 36 votes

Didn't mention location yet cause wanted to see what reaction would be like first! Either way be best to sort it soon if there's interest.

I don't like any posts I've read from anyone on this forum, why would I spend a night drinking with any of you? I might go drinking by myself cause I'm the only person who's posts stuff I agree with.

So at short notice Id imagine it be Dublin.

Any venue ideas? The usual suspects I'd assume!

    Not Dublin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

That's a lot of possible places so ha.

Anyway I've no idea how picking venues works the fact it's coming up to Christmas as well be a lot of party's etc on. Depends who would be interested in going in first place and where they live!

I'd actually be up for one in the country somewhere just not coming up to Christmas cause I don't have the money. If it was properly planned in the new year deffo!

That's the funny thing, it'll only ever be Dublin as everyone else will just say "anywhere but Dublin", I'd say Cork or Galway but you'd only end up with a handful of people :)

Well personally speaking I'd be up for either of them sometime I just know I don't have the money coming up to Christmas. In future though I was only mentioning it to someone last night but I'd love that!

Some best weekends I've had have been random trips out of Dublin!

Only hand full people turned up at last Dublin one even though 30 odd said they go! So would have to be planned right if majority of people where traveling.

Lol if your paying that in Dublin your a dope!

Most pubs do pints for 4 or under not always the best stuff but what is these days!

    On average it's round 5er.

Now I think of it it was pretty much same price last time I was in Cork and Galway for example. Actually there's nothing cheap about Cork city at all ha. Think most of the big city s in Ireland are round similar prices.

Said this before but why not have multiple, simultaneous beers in different places? Have updates, challenges, slagging on here as well as satisfying as many as possible.

I think the expensive drinks might have been when they went to a strip club after?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

Yep was 7 euro for a bottle in the strip club! No way I'd pay that sober in a pub.
