Is this a nutritionist?

So, my new year's resolution is to sort out my diet. It's not too bad, but to be honest, with so much conflicting info around, I'm a little confused. What I'd need is to do like a food diary or something for a few weeks and then get someone to look at it and go 'well, that's fine, cut down on those, and stop eating that immediately'.

I'm guessing a nutritionist would do that, right? Or is a nutritionist more for clinical matters, like coeliac disease or diabetes, and not so much for people who just want to see if their diet is worse than they think?

If you think you need a professional, go to a dietician. Not a nutritionist.

Unless you really feel you need professional intervention as opposed to just solid advice, you could do worse than provide a typical day's food here and get advice.
