Hi all, was just wondering, I have 4 cows near ready for killing, does it make any difference to the meat if the cow or heifer is on heat the day or two before she is killed or if she is on heat the day she is being killed ? Thanks in advance Homer.

If the cows or heifers are cycling every three weeks they need to be fitted with helmets.
