Hi, Im wondering what peoples experiences with these broadband providers are, mainly with consistent speed.

I have tested my line and it can only support up to 5mb download speed. I dont mind the 5mb but only if this is consistent, as I dont want to get stuck in a contract without some reassurance in speed consistency.

Also is line rental included with the packages they offer, or will that be an extra charge by eircom.

Im located in the Kinnegad area.

Any help is much appreciated :)

Great, thanks for the link. But does the problem lie with eircoms lines/exchange or just with their bb service?

I'm on Eircom eFibre the last 11 months and I'm delighted with it. They tricked me into an extra contract by giving me a free trial of their eVision service but unless the esb ftth home is available I won't be moving provider. Sky was dire especially in the evenings.
