PC Build for video editing and streaming

I'm in a similar position myself to recent 'my son is looking for' threads :)

However for my son the primary concern isn't gaming, it's video editing and streaming.
He wants to edit and steam video game footage (of xbox one) using an elgato hd capture device. That's the primary requirement. Secondary is to play games, and that's a distant second requirement at that, and may not even transpire.

I may not be as well up as the experts here so sorry if any of my presumptions are wrong.

However for this scenario it would appear that the AMD chips are better bang for buck for video editing / streaming than Intel, as the additional cores e.g. 6,8 etc are better utilised.

I'm therfore thinking of going for an AMD fx 8530 8 core build (was considering the lesser 6300 6 core also).

What do the experts advise - please keep in mind that my budget is limited (~€600) so bang for buck is important here.

Am I on the right track here?
Can anyone recommend a build for this budget?

    TIA.

    Hopefully that's it.

What I've been looking at so far. Prices from Amazon direct. Not sure if I'm on track here....

    AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor (4.0/4.2GHz, 8MB Level 3 Cache, 8MB Level 2 Cache, Socket AM3+, 125W, Retail Boxed)
    £125.00
