    hello,

the train services aren't as frequent as you would probably like i'm afraid all though it depends on when your traveling, heres the ones i know.
    toards dublin munday to friday.
    2 early morning services.
    1 after noon service.
    1 evening service.
    from dublin.
    1 late morning service.
    1 afternoon service.
    3 evening services.
saturday and sunday, 3 each way
    1 morning
    1 afternoon
    1 evening.
its possible they're is still a service to and from goarey only which will stop but i can't confirm. i suppose they're isn't anything for sale in greystones? you would have a dart every half hour as well as the above services.

Thanks, the thing is I work near Stephens green so I thought that the morning train might be the job. I have an 830 start. What would the time roughy in the morning to get into pearse. I have heard that it makes a lot of stops . Always best to talk to a local that does that commute...

the early morning service did stop a lot when i used it of a monday to return to college, it probably still does. i can't remember if you were in pearse to much before 8.30 though as its been a few years since i used that particular service. as i said they're could still be a earlier service running from goarey which might get you in earlier but i can't confirm

Go to irishrail.ie, put in wicklow and pearse, suitable date and leave the time at "all day" that will bring up a list of the possible trains, their stops and arrival times.

Times don't really suit you if you have to be at work for 08.30.
first train at 06.38 gets to Pearse 07.39
second train 07.33 gets to Pearse 08.39

return services from Pearse at 16.42, 17.41, 18.43.

    Timetable

133 Bus would probably be a better option, 07.00 from Wicklow Monument (07.05-07.10 from stop nearest railway station) would have you in Stephens Green before 08.30. Much more choice of return journeys also, every 30 minutes until 18.00 then hourly till 23.00.

    Timetable

07:39 arrival for an 08:30 start sounds OK doesn't it? Bit of a buffer for contingencies, pick up a coffee and the walking time to the office, bit of kudos from the Boss for being early. 51 minutes would soon go

Take the bus to Greystones than take the DART.
