Facebook issu - keeps deletig friends!

I noticed a couple of hours that my facebook page was down 3 friends, then an hour later dow another and now down 8, got knows how many im down by the end of this. Like i havent posted anything os cant be cos of someting controversial and ive never had this issue with unfriending before.Ive reported the problem to Facebook but havent got a response. Anyone any advice?

I don't think it's a fb issue I think it's a friends issue ...

They probably aren't really your friends anyway.

Leave facebook and read an actual book, go to a play, talk to someone interesting, take up a sport and/or hobby.

Again, I dont post anything like Russell Brand, water charges, competitions or stupid selfies. When I did originally notice the friend count decreasing, I went to see who it could be but couldnt find anyone. I jaut deactivated it cos it was gonna keep on going down (it might still do that anyway)

There is actually a virus going arounf fb at the moment which deletes friends. I have seen the warning on a few peoples pages.

Agree with the general jist of the advice but it's not like posting on boards is massively different than doing so on facebook.

There's no comparison between the level of articulation and intelligence in evidence here as opposed to FB.

I don't need to pretend to be anyone's friend here, no one pretends to be mine. I don't get bombarded with mundanity to the same degree. My exes can't stalk me and I can't stalk my exes. It's far more difficult for me to get in hot water in real life for views I express or experiences I recount here than it would on FB. I won't sour relationships that matter to me by speaking my mind here as I could on FB. I'm exposed to far less semi literate, self regarding, trivial nonsense.

Paradoxically, even with the anonynity here, there is less falsehood.

The two sites are very different animals, offering very different services. But, to me and even barely scratching the surface as I do, the boards is a far superior waste of my time.
