I'd like to get a GPS tracker for a car trailer. What are the options available?

Best I have seen and used is a simple GPS Tracker bought in my local garage supplied from Sparex.

As I'm away from the farm every day and the trailer was borrowed for a few days without knowing I decided to invest in a tracker. Also my insurance company said I would get a reduction if one was fitted - not 100% sure on that as its up for renewal soon.
So we fitted one to the tractor last year and also another one to the Ifor Williams trailer near the junction box.

Just insert a ready to go SIM card put €5 credit on it and top it up every 5 to 6 months (card goes dead after 6 months if you don’t top it up)
Saved the phone number on my phone as the registration of the tractor and called the other number Ifor Williams, anytime I want to know where the trailer is I just ring the number and it sends a text back with LAT & LONG reference. Just type these into Google Maps and bingo. You can even see a satellite image of the yard and a red flag marking exactly where the trailer is. Lots of other setting but thats the simple one to use.

Even if the trailer is not connected directly to a power source the unit will power up when the trailer is plugged in to a jeep for a hour or so and it takes a charge and the tracker has a 4day battery backup when fully charged
The one on the tractor is mounted in the roof lining and connected directly to the battery
