    Afternoon,

I took a look at a car on Saturday, liked it so agreed a price with the dealer, put a deposit down and got a signed receipt stating deposit paid, make of car & amount left.

Having a look online, the car is still advertised on his site + donedeal. Is it normal practise for a dealer to keep an ad up? Texted him yesterday saying I had the money and would be down to pick it up mid-week.

Seemed a decent set-up with some very nice cars, just wondering am I jumping the gun a bit :D

Yes it is normal practice until the car is actually sold, in the off chance that the deal falls through and they don't have to re-advertise it . I bought a car two weeks ago from a large dealership and it was only removed from their site a week later. No need to worry.

I would say it is normal practice across the board, we certainly don't take down any ad until a car is paid for and gone off the premises.
