I need to buy a new bull as feet on the old one has given up.

What is the story with the stars where the bull is rated under different categories, where can I find out more information on the different ratings. In particular I need to know is the information provided reliable.

If you see a bull you like ring and get them to text you the full tag number of the bull. You can look it up on icbf and check for inbreeding etc

    https://webapp.icbf.com/bull-search/search?SearchBy=name&SearchString=Freigduff+Brendan&submit=Search

Get a bulls name or tag number and put into that web sight. I'm not well up on it but play around with it with your old bulls tag number and you'll see.

Reliability on indexes is the main issue around stock bulls, do you need one? Could just go AI....

If you look first on something like ifj or donedeal ads send a text, ask for the tag number, then look him up on icbf. Reliability figures tend to be low (20-25%) for young bulls. You can look up his pedigree by clicking on it in the blue band, also his linear stats and carcase potential will be there too on a seperate page.
What breed are you looking for?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Looking at that there, they mention that linear scoring a youngbull affects his ratings.. To get this done would I need a crush or would a locking barrier work?

If he can be handled handy enough, a locking barrier would do.
It's a good while since we had the scorer, but most of it was done on the slats.
