Impluse buys you regret?

This evening. Having perused the soon to end items on EBay following a glass of vino, my impulsive streak implored me to succumb to the alluring seductive qualities of slippers. These slippers weren't just any slippers good people of After Hours, these were USB charged heated slippers you could plug into the computer and then walk around with toasty feet on you for up to TWO HOURS at a time :o.

Needless to say, my other half thinks I was mad and nearly pissed themselves with laughter when they found out I spent €15 plus P&P on a pair of slippers that charge up and keep your feet warm off ebay. Reckons they'll be in the trash within a week :D

What impluse buys turned out to be total duds for you?

I bought a house about 8 years ago that's worth less than the phone I'm typing on now...

It was impulsive. I do regret it. A little.

I'm engaged now and we're finding it difficult to move. Could be worse I suppose. At least I've got my tracker!!!

Impulse Romance. Sprayed it liberally 'round Tesco, bit went down my throat.
I'll stick to Sure in future.

It's funny how the best game for the console is the one that comes for free with it.

Yet there are 18s rated games released for it???

Oh I have a slippers disaster too. I bought a pair of those cosy looking furry slipper socks/boots you can microwave.

Turns out the heat in them comes from the fact that they're packed with grains which resulted in them being heavy as lead, "sweating" in the microwave and always coming out wet, and recreating the feeling of trying to walk on scorching tiny pebbles in bare feet everytime I stood up in them.

So to sum up, do not buy these yokes however cosy they might look : http://www.intelex.co.uk/best-sellers/the-cozy-range/cozy-body/boots/furry-warmers-boots-cream.html

There's plenty of good games on the Wii, just softmod the f*cker and you'll get a ton of new life out of it.

I spent 180 euro on the nespresso website last night on impulse buys. Why we need a Totem dispenser for coffee capsules , I don't know but there is one on the way to us , along with some spoons that cost 15 quid.

Treadmill and also a set of weights , useless and also too bulky and heavy to get rid of easily, I have a set of weights in the spare room , I hate going in there , it's as if they're taunting me , the bastards.

I struggle to spend money. Like, I often compare myself to Monty Burns in the Simpson's episode where Homer uses an auto-dialler to phone everyone in town and sell eternal happiness.

"Eternal happiness, eh? I think I'd be happier with the dollar."

We have an nespresso machine in work. Those capsules are ridiculously expensive, however the coffee is great :D. I'm too stingy to pay that much for 'gourmet' coffee so it's a good thing the company provides it for free!

I'm also awful at spending money, even if its something I know I want. Little voice in the head telling me to stop and save my money.

I did spend £130 on a fancy radio last year. Saw it in John Lewis, convinced myself I was gonna listen to BBC radio all the time and become cultured and stuff. To date, haven't taken it out the box.

Day to day, never really buy stuff.. Supposed to go clothes shopping again this morning after trying every weekend for three months but always putting it off. My hungover impulses are great though.. Everything I've spent anyway decent money on in the last few years has been bought the day after a session.

Basically, I look like crap everyday because clothes aren't fun to buy. But I've never regretted any impulse buy.. I've got a nice motorbike, a massive tv, good phone, etc that sober me wouldn't really be that interested in going out and buying.

A Wii U. I never owned a Nintendo console before (but have played their handhelds on and off since the 90's Pokemon Yellow represent :D)
I did the same thing with a used cheap PS Vita.

The **** was I thinking, I can't even enjoy Nintendo, nevermind/buying PS3 games, I think I just got old and my interests changing.
Looks my occasional interests changed to books and quality movies AND I CAN'T GO BACK

    Gaming career Adamantium (1998-2010) R.I.P :(
The 3rd world weeps for my plight.

One of those things that you hold in both hands and it measures your body fat and some other stuff.

Never worked properly, or, I never worked out how to use it properly.

Sat there in the wardrobe mocking me for quite a while before I got rid of it.
