Moss starting

    Hi all,
As the title goes, moss is starting to grow on my lawn.
Over the cutting season, it was fertilized regularly, cut regularly and generally taken care of very well.
The lawn was sown in May 2013 and had no moss last winter. It has drainage but i suppose after all the deluge with the last 6 weeks, its fuel for moss.
It would break my heart to see it being overcome by it.
Is there anything i can do now to stop/prevent/slowdown it.

    Thanks

In short, there is nothing you can do now.

Come spring, you could add lime, sulphate of Iron and scarify.

No point trying now. Moss is proliferating everywhere - driveways, tarmac, paths - so you have to wait until certain conditions change.

    It's very annoying!
