asus laptop touchpad suddenly not working

    I don't know what happened but all of a sudden the touchpad won't work on my laptop. I had a look online and tried fn +f9 but it didn't work.

    Would anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

    Have you tried updating drivers?

    It may also be the touchpad it self, like a loose wire.

    I did a system restore and it seems to be ok now. I'll try updating the drivers later this eve anyway just to be sure
