I can't find it anywhere, or anything like it. I want to fully transition to vegan but would love something to replace my beloved scrambled egg.

Scrambled tofu as said above, --LOS-- makes a great one.

As for making eggs in general, this is lovely!

Yeah I've heard that said before but my problem is I just hate tofu, the taste or lack of, the texture...its awful stuff. Maybe I just need a decent recipe.

^ do you freeze it before you use it? I find it really improves the texture and makes for a great scramble with loads of herbs, spices and nooch thrown in mmmmm

No, never tried, how you cook it from frozen?

I've ditched the idea of the Vegg, its pretty good value for money but shipping costs from the US are crazy so I've been looking at various vegan websites and have found a few different scrambled tofu ideas. Most require Silken tofu but I haven't been able to find that, I'm hoping the normal stuff will work okay.

You defrost it and it's like a new food

this stuff is the business as it tastes like an egg yolk. if you slice the tofu fairly thinly and fry it 'til slightly browned it will taste nearly like an egg white then just pour over 2 teaspoons of vegg (just mix with water first). add vpud which is exactly like black pudding after being fried 'til crispy. add fakin' bacon rashers and your fav faux sausage and you have the full irish breakfast! it can be bought from veganstore in the UK.

the 'vegg' works too and you only have to add water and whisk and fry the tofu. you can buy it online in the uk at veganstore and sometimes amazon in the uk have it.
