Advice on restoring or not

So a few years ago I bought a HP Slimline(Don't know model but can get if needed). One day It just wouldn't turn on so I took it apart thinking it could've been the PSU. The PSU had a solid green light which shows it should be working but I tried the jumper trick (Connect green & black) and the fan inside the PSU worked. So then I thought it could be the actual switch on the front panel. Took the switch apart and manually tried to switch but no lights or fans spinning on MOBO. So it surely is the MOBO. If I short two pins on the FPANEL connected I can here the PSU short circuiting. So it must be getting power? So I have no clue.(Performed the test with only CPU inserted?)

    Here's the specs:
AMD phenom x3 triple cote(AM2 socket)
    3Gb DDR2 Ram dual channel
    1 PCI express
    2 data
    24 pin power connecter
    Micro itx form factor

I can't find a replacement MOBO anywhere only 2nd hand versions on ebay.

    Any help appreciated.
