Environ Skin Care

Does anyone on here have any experience with Environ skin care products?

I had an Environ facial today (deal voucher) which started with having my skin analysed by a machine. I'd have thought that overall my skin isn't too bad despite being a bit dry. I've naturally got freckles and have been using min 20spf on my face every day for the past 8 years but the machine made my sun damage look horrendous although the beautician didn't concentrate on this as I'd said dry skin was my main concern.

I'm just wondering how accurate these machines are? Or are they just a marketing ploy? I felt the analysis was a lot of trying to impress me with the "science bit" but I'm not sure how much depth there was to it.

The brand itself doesn't advocate exfoliating & recommends Vitamin A moisturisers to stimulate cell renewal instead. Since it goes against everything I've ever understood about skin care I'm skeptical but my skin does feel great & very hydrated after the facial.

So I suppose before I consider spending €120 on a serum & moisturiser I'm wondering if anyone on here has any experience of the products.

    Thanks in advance :)

Unless you're in your 40's or 50's you don't *need* to spend €120 on serums or moisturisers. Even at that olay for instance have some fantastic products for mature skin. There are lots of fantastic serums available now for a fraction of that cost though. Aldi have a hydralauric (sp!) acid serum now for €8 that gets great reviews. The serum is more important than the moisturiser as this is what hydrates your skin.

Btw I'd guess that nearly everyone had dry/dehydrated skin especially in the winter months.

Do abit of googling and read up on different products before being bamboozled by gadgets and science.

I personally learned a lot from Caroline Hirons and her blog.

I got great results from using Environ. A product with high vitamin A can really help with anti-aging.
I've moved away from Environ and now use ZO Medical with even better results. One of the ZO products is basically Retin A.
