OnePlus One and Samsung tab 4

    I recently purchased the Oneplus and will be taking delivery soon. I also have a Samsung tab 4.

    Id like both devices to have the same os. or as close as I can. Is is possible to root the Samsung and install the oneplus software or is there a version of cyanogen which will work on both devices?


    ideally id like to get the Samsung up to lollipop and get rid of touchwiz.

    Look on the XDA forums for a cyanogenmod ROM for your device. I'd say you should be able to get CM11 on it and you'd end up with a very similar OS to the one on the OnePlus One.

    As for lollipop you'll have to wait a while before you get a stable ROM for either device.

    XDA forums have rooting and flashing guides as well that will guide you through the whole process. Just remember to be careful and make sure to back up before you do anything.

    You will void you warranty by doing this! Keep that in mind.
