Is Testosterone Propionate available in Ireland ?

Does anyone know if Testosterone Propionate is available in Ireland ?

I have used various forms of Testosterone Replacement but I have not responded very well to them.

A freind of mine recommended Testosterone Propionate to me because it has a very short half life and may help my condition.

I asked my Doctor about it but he had never heard of it.

This product is sold all over the internet but I'm looking to get it through legitimate channels.

If I can get the name of a reputable pharmaceutical company that makes this product I can then ask my Doctor to prescribe it.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Disclaimer- I am not looking for medical advice I just want to know if this product is available in Ireland.

Do you know if a pharmacy can order a medication from over seas if you have a prescription for it ?

No, as its not licenced for sale here. There are specifics about use of unlicenced medicines in certain circumstances but this isn't going to be one of them.

That's not quite accurate. As long as the pharmacy can source the product from a pharmaceutical wholesaler on foot of a prescription for a named patient (ie can't order in a stock of it just in case) they can order in an unlicensed product. The prescribing doctor takes on more responsibility for prescribing an unlicensed product as it hasn't been proven safe in this country and must inform the patient of that. You could run into an issue where your doctor may not want to take that extra burden if he's never heard of it
