    Good folk of the forum.

I'm looking for an old but solid mtb/hybrid for a new arrival to these shores who blew their meagre bicycle budget on a supermarket full susser with a loose bb and rear hub.

It just needs to stand up to a short loop between the keys and the south city.

Can offer cash and/or parts in trade.

I can take care of getting something that's fundamentally sound back into running order.

Does it have a flip flop and brakes? What would you be looking for?

I should have added that it's for someone around 160-165cm

Thanks man. I'll bear it in mind but I think I'd better hold out for the €50 10 year old Raleigh mtb someone has taking up room in their shed.

Have one of those. Nothing fancy. 10/12 yr old Raleigh.
Steel frame, basic shimano 3*5 system, cantilever brakes.
Can throw in boot, will be in Dublin city centre Tuesday morning/lunchtime

Sounds ideal. But I'm chained to a desk in ballsbridge these days.

Will have to think of something.

Walk to work, carry a lock, I'll call to Ballsbridge on way home around 1 or maybe earlier
