    Hey,

5a. If yes, what size do you need? N\A

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1920x1080 - Potentially move to a dual monitor setup for development purposes

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No

    8. How can you pay? Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser

Also, the PC will be set up in my home office so wireless will be something to think about. I have a Windows 7 64bit install so should be fine on that front.

    Thanks.

So from some investigation, one of the main requirements will be a hard drive with very good Disk I/O . Any help/guidance would be deadly.
    Cheers!!!

    As I don't want to just ignore you, I might as well just say it, I've never made a build for a .Net development computer. However, here are some links where the people on there may be able to help you with that;

Unless someone else is able to help you on the topic. Very sorry about that.

So I've been doing some research into a build to solve both my problems and have come up with the below. It is similar to some of the Gaming builds around with some specific changes to improve disk i/o (higher end SSD was recommended) as well as extra RAM for build processes etc.
I have run the build through PC Part Picker and everything appears to be fine (pcpartpicker.com/p/KDw8zy) I was just wondering if anybody else had any thoughts.

Apologies can't post url's or images as I'm new but the built is basically:

    Intel Core i5-4460 in-a-Box
    ASRock H97 Pro4, Sockel 1150, ATX
    8GB-Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9 x2
Samsung SSD 840 EVO Basic 120GB SATA 6Gb/s
    Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB, SATA 6Gb/s
ASUS GTX660-DC2OCPH-2GD5 DirectCU II OC 216mm, GeForce GTX 660, 2GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort
BitFenix Shinobi Midi-Tower USB 3.0 black, ohne Netzteil
Corsair CX Series Modular CX500M, 500W

Also if anyone has any recommendations on similar cases it would be much appreciated.

    Cheers!

Thanks! Just wondering, is there much difference between the 4460 in my build and the higher end 4670?

Well I don't know how stressful .Net development is on cpu's but I don't think that the increase in performance from the 4460 - 4670 would be enough to warrant a 15% increase in price which could be put towards going for an even more powerful ssd. :P
