Hi was looking at buying a house but it has calor gas tank powering the central heating. Lived in a house before with this type of heating and worked out to be very expensive. Was wondering how much it would be to installboil fired central heating instead. Thanks

A starting point would be 2800. Why not upgrade the gas boiler and install heating controls?

Before thinking of the heating you should take a look at the insulation properties of the house.
No point upgrading a heating system if the heat just vanishes out through the walls, roof and windows.
