Question re Dublin to Kuala Lumpur

I've seen a good price on ebookers but just just wondering about the Dublin to London part of the journey with Aer lingus. Does anyone know if my bags will go straight to Kuala Lumpur or will I have to go through check in again with Malaysian Airlines in Heathrow? The layover time seems tight(90mins) to be going through all that again in Heathrow.

    Cheers

If booked on the same ticket number; bags will be checked through. Check what the terminal transfer in LHR is though; can be a nightmare depending on what terminal you are going to from T2 (where Aer Lingus operates)

Thats what I was thinking. I will need to get to terminal 4. I better research it before booking. cheers

As Aer Lingus have frequent flights to LHR you can create a less pressured connection if you book a flight leaving an hour earlier rather than the minimum proposed. This option should appear on any booking website.

90 minutes should be plenty of time for that connection. I did the same connection in the summer, bags checked through had plenty of time at the gate to go grab a coffee.

    Lucky you going to KL!!
We went there last year and had a brilliant time.
I can recommend the hotel we stayed in if that would be of any help to you?

We stayed in the Impania KLCC and I would highly recommend it.
It's really close to the Petronas Twin Towers. Actually the rooms in the newer tower of the hotel have a direct view of them.
The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
    The breakfast is first class.
There is a covered walkway directly from the hotel over to the shopping centre under the Towers and the walkway also branches off tithe Bukit Bintang area.
We got a great deal on Booking.com.
    Have a brilliant time :-)
