Is it possible to buy a voucher for a hotel chain? And would it entitle the person to avail of discounts when booking through Expedia etc? Anyone know?

You can buy vouchers for booking sites like Expedia etc than can be used on any of their hotels. A voucher for a particular chain could probably only be used on the website of that chain e.g. Best Western.
