I cant see any sign of damage but given that it has had a tip I would steer clear. Keep in mind it might affect how much the car is worth when you come to sell it. Also in the event of you writing the car off you may not get the market value of the car as it has been cat D before.

    Be careful here OP

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Under what circumstances would you buy the car in my shoes?

If it got the all clear from an AA/RAC examination, its a very cheap 2013 5 series with tiny mileage ...

The wheel pictured has damage which would be hard to do kerbing it which implies it happened in the accident. That coupled with the poorly fitted bumper implies to me a cheap ass repair job and the car is one to avoid.

Mmmm .... Thanks for the advice bro

There's plenty of 2012s with reasonably low millage that are the same price or cheaper

The 13 plate and low miles are tempting me bit perhaps its a car best avoided

Have to say they were very blunt and unhelpful with my emailed queries today

If you are worried about the car and the dealer doesnt seem helpful walk away. Plenty of other options out there.
