Is there 2 inputs on the HD box, try it on the other one.

Op, make sure it is in input one and you enable single feed mode. This is presuming you have only one cable.

Cheers folks. Your advice did the trick. Now my next dilemma! I entered loads of codes for extra channels but I can't find them now?

Google sky Ireland other channels and you can enter them in that way.

I have all the codes written down and entered them and saved them. My problem is, where are they now stored on the sky + Box. It was a lot simpler on the old box.

They can be accessed by pressing the settings button on the remote and then scrolling across to other channels but you must have a card in the box to be able to access them.

So do you need a card and a subscription or just a card?

No an old blue or white sly card will do.
