    ipad 4 is 4th generation introduced in 2012... ipad air 2 is the lastes introduced few weeks back... if you want unused/new go to shops like pcworld/currys, harvey norman, carphonewarehouse etc or online from apple littlewoods ireland, pixmania.ie, or the above shop's onlne services.. adverts/done deal u get used , many sell new as well, but be sure it sealed n intact and compare prices.. u can buy from ebay or amazon too... prices varies depending on storage size 16gb, 32gb etc n wifi only or lte model

    My advice would be go for iPad air (1) or mini 2 depending on the size you want. They're last years models but very close to the latest models.
