    just bought a 13ft dory/tender (no trailer) in lancashire in england. Any suggestions on how to get it to this side of the pond! cheaply. cheers in advance.

    Get cheap ferry tickets and a roof rack. To have it couriered would be in the region of €800+ (based on having done this with a RIB)

    I have used these http://www.shiply.com/miv2/ it's a bit like shipping wars :) you put in what you have and where you want it moved to then they bid on it and you pick the cheapest one. My last one was sent over by a guy that had room on his trailer and was delivering tractors just up the road so he only charged me £200.

    Im using www.handyhaulage.ie at the moment to try get a mast sent over from the UK. No luck so far but no harm in you trying
