Didn't know which forum would be the most appropriate to ask in but I know a lot of GAA folk wear this type of stuff...

I was thinking of getting myself a few of these tops for no one dedicated reason - other than regulating temperature and minimising sweating when cycling to work, outside working and hiking.

The last time I tried one of these tops on, it felt like it sould be a gymnastic event and put me off.

Do these tops actually help to regulate body temp? Are they all insanely tight or are there different levels of compression per manufacturer - i.e. different fitting or shapes?

I appreciate that the jury is out as to whether they improve sporting performance but that is not what I want this for.

If there is a better place for this, can a mod lease move?

    Thanks.
    FM.
