    Hi guys.

I won't go into any detail on this, but I got an un-cropped version of the photo a Garda (Not GoSafe) van took of me.

There are notes on the top with speed limit etc. One note states Dir: ^. Would anyone else here who got a full photo in the past be able to check what direction their car was facing with the up arrow showing?

A Downward arrow ˇ Would indicate that the car was traveling towards the back of the van (towards the radar source)

And Upwards arrrow ˆ would mean the car was traveling away from the back of the van (Away from the radar source)

ˆor ˘ doesnt mean a front or back pic of the car as the Garda Vans can, and sometimes do, park up facing traffic, so that they can get the reg of bikes going past.

Just remember all pics are taken from the rear window.

(The vans can also monitor both sides of the road, ie both oncoming and receding traffic at the same time.)
