Hi. I got married last year and never transfered my wife's tax credits over to mine as I am the only one working in the house. I know I should have done it in december.
My question is if I can claim my tax back for this year as a joint assement or is it my tough luck for not transferring them over

Request a P21 Balancing statement for 2013 through paye anytime/phone revenue and make sure your wife's credits are assigned to you.

Let them know if you want to take all the credits for 2014 onwards.
