The Chair,” created by Chris Moore, the Executive Producer of Emmy-nominated “Project Greenlight,” is a STARZ original filmmaking experiment. The documentary series follows two first-time film directors, Shane Dawson and Anna Martemucci, who are given the opportunity to direct separate films adapted from the same original screenplay. “The Chair” will document the creation, marketing, and theatrical release of both films, and through multiplatform voting, the audience will ultimately determine which director will be awarded $250,000. Dawson is an internet superstar whose YouTube comedy channels boast more than 10 million subscribers and over a billion views. Martemucci is a writer, actor and filmmaker who co-wrote, produced and starred in the independent film “Breakup at a Wedding.” Both directors will have creative leeway to develop their respective films using their own ingenuity and distinct experience. Actor Zachary Quinto and his producing partners Corey Moosa and Neal Dodson will join Moore and the script’s original producer, Josh Shader, to serve as mentors to Dawson and Martemucci

Anybody watching this? The season finale is this Sunday. I need to try find and watch both movie before then.

It's by far the best reality tv series of the year and a interesting insight into indie movie making and the mechanics behind reality tv in general. AS the contestants struggle to fund their movies the showmakers are also struggling to keep a float.

Thoroughly recommended for anyone who has an interest in film.

I love this show - last weeks episode was epic. So much went on that - especially on the Shane side.

I have watched "Not Cool" and most of the criticism is justified. Can't find Hollidaysburg but I like Anna

Watched Not Cool last night and have to agree. It's nowhere near as offensive as I thought it was going to be though. It's just a poor movie.

There were one or two clever jokes buried within the dross though.

Shane really doesn't have leading man potential. Thought the other 3 main actors where very good though.

That was a very interesting and honest finale to a reality tv series. I was expecting some live segment similar to Survivor but I'm delighted with how they wrapped the series up.

The show never really was about who won or who lost and their decision not to focus on this meant they devoted lots of time to the far more interesting 'behind the scenes' stuff.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the show.
