Ballyneety Golf Club in Limerick has been voted "munster golf club of the year 2014".This has been some turn around for a club that was closed for three years and reopened in 2013

Must be down to the incredible work they've done in resurrecting the course in such a short time. I'm sure I wasn't alone in being sceptical if they could ever get it back in good condition but having played there they've done a fantastic job so far. Lots of volunteer work and good organisation, I'm sure it'll be even better next year when the good weather comes.
