Going commando after work out

I go to a gym regularly and have noticed off late that most of the guys in the changing room after work out put on their tracks or jeans after a shower without any underwear. Is this a new phenomenon only in my gym in Sandyford or does this happen across all the gyms in Dublin??

I am not passing any judgements just curious!!!!

20 degrees in the shade today in Dublin, sweaty crotch by lunchtime, quick shower fresh work trousers and commando for the afternoon. very refreshing, no gym just car workshop.

My gym is only a short walk from my house so if I go for a swim I generally just stick back on a pair of trackies and shower properly at home. Suit pants or jeans commando seems crazy to me! Would there not be chaffing!?

I never wear underwear anyway when wearing a track suit bottoms to be honest. Couldn't do it with Jeans though?!

Compression shorts under sweat pants or normal shorts. Keep boxers fresh post shower. I'd rather not free ball it, pretty standard in most gyms I've been to.

I think thats because most people I have seen wear their pants while working out.
I never do, shorts with lining ftw.

    Hey

Just like the rest I tried yesterday going commando after my work out. I just had my tracks on after the work out and walked back home. Felt much more comfortable. I anyway do not wear anything to bed. But looks like I will be going commando from now on. Will wear undies only going out of house...

I do that every now and then. Why? I forget to put some bloody spare boxers in the bag !!!

I don't think it's something new. Personally I'd always freeball. Except going to work or night out. It's more comfortable. I know few American lads been doing it for awhile. Just easier and quicker after the gym to just jump into trackies and head on home.

Trackies makes sense but I couldn't get on board with jeans. That does not sound comfortable.

I've done it some times specially in summer. No hassle at all.
