Looking for Aerial Repair / Installer, North County Dublin

Hi All,

I live in North County Dublin, in a Freeview spillover area, and until recently (August / September) there was no problem receiving the Freeview channels from Kilkeel and Saorview channels. Usually the signal strength is 70% to 80%or higher.

In August / September, the Freeview channels would disappear for hours at a time and then come back. Atmospheric conditions, I thought, due to the great weather in September.

But, now as the weather returns to normal for this time of year. The channels still disappear for hours on end, with little or no warning.

I have tried some troubleshooting:

• Rescan the channels
• Reboot the PVR
• Reset the PVR to Factory defaults (Samsung BDE8900M - Freeview+HD box)
• Test cable in a different unit (directly in the TV instead of PVR)
• Use a different cable

All to no avail - the TV seems to work better than the PVR, still has some break up, so we're looking to have the Aerial checked in case there's something loose up there or can be replaced with better equipment (the Aerial was installed when we bought the house).

If anyone knows of a good, reliable Aerial repair guy who covers North County Dublin, please could you PM me the details and I will be forever in your debt.

Did you find anyone? I am not far from Swords and i am looking for someone who is handy with TV/Audio visual setups as i am looking for a solution to a problem i have with s-ky and want to share it out to another screen a few feet away. I have a AV video sender but its not working, its meant to be a decent one from Amazon but also have a few other questions and if someone was reasonable i would consider getting them in. thanks C.
