I may owe revenue money but realize I am personally liable because I am a sole trader. My question is can I still chase debts customers owe me from months ago if I am unregistered…

Yes. They owe you the money you can chase them until they drop dead.

Whether they pay you given that you have closed your business is another matter I'm afraid.
