High end laminate flooring

    Is there high end laminate flooring that looks as good as solid wood flooring?

    I would really like to put down solid wood as the finish and look of it is great. However it really isn't an option as I have young kids and have already seen the results from other people! I'd like to find a high quality laminate that looks really well and as similar as possible to solid wood.

    Can anyone recommend any particular brands and who might supply this in the Dublin or Kildare area?

    Laminate flooring comes in various thickness if you want that solid chunky floor feel get the thickest you can get. A trip to a flooring place would be ideal

    bit of a drive but theres a flooring gaffe up in castleblaney that do alot thicker laminate (14mm is what we got) for cheaper than what b&q were selling a similar pattern 8mm. That was about 3years ago though.

    I've put down a lot of Balterio flooring in my house. Really good quality stuff and they have a number of price ranges. Looks really good and wears really well. Got it in this place which has a showroom with most of the range.
