Anyone know what is the situation if you file a few days late but your total liability is a loss. How do they apply 5% penalty?
I am PAYE worker with rental income in a loss. I am waiting on a statement of social welfare payments for 2013 so my return will be delayed. Will I incur a penalty if my total rental income is a loss and I have paid PAYE. I am also going to claim back tuition and health expenses.

Also, I poet the return on 31st Oct but it doesnt reach Revenue until next week will that be ok? How strict are they?

    Hi

If the PAYE income in not income from a company that you control more then 15% of the shares then there cant be a surcharge on a loss.

What do you mean by "rental income in a loss"?
