Depends at the minute you would have to send them home to get price of them
If beef gets a little scarcer no probs here at stripper price

They are uk cattle, can sell in mart but have to be declared as imports and a lot of potential buyers will lose interest imeadiatly, only a couple of factories take imports too

You can sell them in mart but there will not be many takers not sure about factory but I would think seeing they are from another country they would not give you too much for them. Cute hoor not telling you before you bought them
If I was you I would leave them back and cancel cheque

If they're for breeding I wouldnt be overly worried as you can get imported cows killed easily enough. Prime cattle are a different story

I only know of two factories killing import cows, so they don't have much competition to buy against

surly when you looked at the cattle you would have noticed the different ear tags as not irish.

I sent three cows off to the factory a few years ago and it was only when they saw the cards in the factory did they realise they were imports and couldn't kill them . I think they had to send them to Kildare . Myself or the truck driver never noticed the tags and the father had put the cards in an envelope and we didn't look at them before we left .
I can't remember was there much of a difference in the tags

I seen a hardened dealer get caught with a few friesian bulls in the mart before now he didn't hear the "red card" . He refused to bring them after though. The tags are yellow as well. I'd say the op might be a novice with regard to bovines
