    Which is better bet?
    Bridgestone Turanza T001 or Potenza RE002 (205/55/16)

I think the Turanza is a slightly better all round tyre

is there much of a price difference?

I'd say either will be fine or at least on a regular car like a Passat there would be no noticeable different imo except maybe on price.

I replaced the Turanza's off my Passat as they are a noisy tyre. Got Dunlop SP Fast Response, a good deal quieter, happy so far.

Potenzas are a tenner cheaper (€90) in Fast Fit.

you couldn't go wrong with either from a reputable manufacturer, go with the potenzas and save the €40

In my experience with both they wear pretty quickly, especially on VAG cars.

I agree, had Touranzas on a Touran 1.9TDI (box on wheels) and they wore pretty quick.

The Turanza will outlast the Potenza but the Potenza will out-grip the Turanza.

I would go for the Turanza if I were you.
