P45 and new company

    Hi All,

Quick question, if a company issues a P45 to someone is there a way to non-disclose the previous company on the P45.

We have a lad who works for us and will be leaving, on good terms, but works for a subsidiary company and is going to a rival who doesn't know the link between companies. All our payroll is done in one office so his P45 would show this, I imagine.

    Any advice would be great

There is no need to give the P45 to the new employer. He can phone Revenue him self, and transfer his allowance to the new company

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

Can this be done by just having the registration number of the other company. I was under the impression that a P45 was always needed to be handed in to apply tax credits and such?

    Thanks
