i have a renault kangoo, i was using the tripomoter to get a rough estimate fuel usage, then last weekend i pressed in the trip ajuster button, instead of zeros on the reading, the main speedo reading showed just some dashes, i started up then the speedo now acts as if its on speed, it runs up to some awesome milage, i think 10,100,00, then auto resets to zero the takes off again like the clappers, any ideas. or is this a expensive trip to the main steeles.

this may sound daft, but have you wiggled the adjuster thing around a bit to make sure its not stuck?

depending on the model but I think you have just reset your service light. No need for main dealers (ever) just pop along to your local independent mechanic and he should be able tosort this for you.
