So yeah.. as the title suggests I just probably need to vent my crazy
I've been seeing this guy for a few months and he is great! He is a little older than me ( I'm 27 and he is 35) so its understandable that he has his own life and all that
Because of where we live and our own busy schedules I see him during the weekends for a day or stay over kind of thing

The time I spend with him is great. I've met his family and he has met mine and our friend circles. His friends and family know a good bit about me and vice versa so its a good sign I think that he talks about me.
We are very shy and not ones for the crazy PDA's but are comfortable doing so the odd time.

and now for the crazy brain stupid thinking part. when we first met we would talk all the time, him often initiating the conversation and for about 2 or 3 hours of texting. This has died down quite a lot in the last two weeks or so with maybe only one or two texts a day between us but interacting through facebook ( Him commenting on my status etc), He has been a bit down lately and I'm putting the lack of communication to that I think.

I realise that this is my problem and that it is something that I need to work on. I haven't mentioned my worries to him because of that fact.
And that's really it. Sorry for the ranting. hopefully ye wonderful amazing people can talk the crazy out of my brain :D

I think that's probably quite a common pattern, you fly out of the blocks asking all about each other, what's you favourite colour/band/film/superhero/food/whatever the hell pops into your head, check out each others values and approach to relationships, find out if you're compatible, then you take the compatability and turn it into a relationship.

At that point communication starts to change a bit, you don't have to provide the backstory to every text, you can just rely on the knowledge of each other you've built up and the communication goes from there.

Obviously I'm paraphrasing quite a bit here, but slowing communication when you're apart wouldn't worry me too much if you are in a position where you can assume you'll be seeing each other regularily and you can both see a future. Don't let the talk die off altogether, but don't sweat a little slowdown if the rest is good.
