What are peoples views on this Bill currently in the Dail?
The is currently no legislation to protect homeowners for the construction of wind turbines beside there home.

Specifically this part of the bill is interesting...

"The ratio shall be as follows: Wind turbines that are of a
height which is greater than 25 metres shall be located not
less than a distance of ten times the height of the turbine away
    from any dwelling."

Currently for a 150 meter wind turbine, it must be at least 500 meters from a dwelling.
This new bill would mean the same wind turbine would need to be 1500 meters from a dwelling.
