Hi I have no phone line. I have been using various mobile broadband over the years with poor enough speeds / allowances etc.
A guy from eircom called last week and told me eircom fibre had arrived at my house with 100 mb(?) speeds available.
I disputed this speed and he produced a laptop and showed me 30mb as we spoke was occurring as we chatted!
    I left it.

Today I am reading from sky that broadband only is available if your phone can take fibre b/b.
I would appear to be in this category now.

My question is has anyone experience of sky broadband indeed only without TV and if so is it reliable ... Thks . Live near Enfield

What was his laptop connected to when he was showing you these speeds?

Sky don't do VDSL, their product maxes out at 24mb if you're next door to the exchange.
