    Hi there

I'm looking for some advice about my broadband if anyone can help I'd be grateful. Here's the story anyway I was a utv broadband customer a few months ago but unfortunately vodafone bought them over or something to that effect. So was a bit nervous on the change over I read some bad reviews of vodafone. Anyway everything was ok till about 2 weeks ago then it began to go down hill slow speeds on all devices. Sometimes I can't watch netflix or YouTube and gaming has gotten bad too. I had very few problems with utv I could count them on one hand it was always reliable but now I'm starting to get pissed off. I pay for 24meg but only get in around 15-17. I also have 3 kids so the demand on the broadband is big but that hasn't changed in the last few years it's only now I'm starting to notice problems I've done speed tests via laptop connected by Ethernet cable and it all over the place at times. My question is what could be wrong now that wasn't there before? Do I change to another ISp eircom or sky are my only other options. Oh and it's a DSL line I can't get fibre yet any help would be great fully accepted

    €35. 00
    a month for 18 months

    What's included...

    Unlimited broadband usage allowance
    Free modem
    Free installation

I was on to Vodafone today , re this offer. On checking my line apparently I can up to around 18/20 mb as my line is ok it seems for fibre.

Two things: the reports from people on boards re Vodafone are brutal and is putting me off.
Has it improved at all in recent times?
Anyone happy with it ? Just broadband I need .. No phone etc.
Secondly the broadband mobile dongles I have used are very poor as regards strength of signal , you nearly have to be on top of it before a device will pick it up.

35 quid a month for fixed B/b is good compared with mobile broadband if it s reliable
