    Hi,

    Just looking for a bit of advice please. I've been taking some shots of local GAA clubs and sharing them on Facebook. Rather than be messing with privacy settings, I am thinking of putting the shots on a separate website (I have some hosting space).

    I'd ideally like to be able to tag images in some way so each club could easily find images in which they are featured. I'd also like to catalogue them, e.g.
    - 10th October: Team 1 v Team 2
    - 17th October: Team 3 v Team 4 etc.

    Has anyone any suggestions for self-hosted or hosted solutions that would offer some of this functionality (I'm guessing there's nothing open-source out there that doesn't need a substantial amount of work to bang into shape). Has anyone used Wordpress and any of it's plug-ins to achieve something like this?

    Any advice appreciated..

    If you already have a website you could add a gallery page for each match (set of photos) you want to show, eg. Team 1 v Team 3 Club Final 28th October 2013 and add all your photos to that gallery? Remembering also to resize your photos down to 72dpi and maybe 600/800px max lenght (for page load speed) I use this plugin on 3 of my sites (free version) http://bestwebsoft.com/products/gallery/
