If an internship is advertised on Intreo does that mean the position has been filled

I know that internships must be advertised on Intreo for people to apply,but this is also the case if you ask a company to take you on for an internship....even if you organise it yourself,the company must still advertise it....I may have answered my own question here but could someone shed some light on this for me?! :D

Dont think it has to be advertise,if your taken off live register form 9 months the social will work around it.
